OTTAWA EXPANDS ARMOURED VEHICLE PRODUCTION WITH GDLS-CANADA
The federal government announced a new strategic partnership with General Dynamics Land Systems–Canada that includes nearly $2 billion over four years for 190 additional Armoured Combat Support Vehicles.
The order would expand the Canadian fleet from 360 to 550 vehicles, keep production in London, Ontario, and support a domestic supplier base that already stretches across more than 100 communities.

CANADA LAUNCHES A NEW SECURE HUB FOR UNCREWED DEFENCE SYSTEMS
National Defence is putting $29.6 million over two years into a new Uncrewed Systems Defence Innovation Secure Hub, led by an Espace Aéro consortium and anchored in Mirabel through the National UxS Capability Acceleration Hub, or NEXUS.
The project is designed to speed up the development, testing, and transition of Canadian autonomous and counter-uncrewed technologies into operational use, with priority areas that include sensor integration, contested logistics, and human-machine teaming.

NEO BATTERY SIGNS DRONE SUPPLY PARTNERSHIP WITH SOUTH KOREAN MANUFACTURER
NEO Battery Materials announced a joint development agreement with South Korean drone and aerospace company Assetta to develop and supply high-performance, non-Chinese battery products for current and future drone platforms.
The company is framing the deal as its first publicly disclosed drone customer relationship and a step toward deeper participation in Korean defence procurement and drone-related manufacturing.
